My journey into law was rooted in a simple desire: to serve others. The name of Allah, Al-Wakil—The Ultimate Trustee, the One who advocates for others—has always guided that purpose.

I began my career as a civil engineer, drawn to building solutions. But over time, I found myself more compelled by what happens when things go wrong—by the disputes, the misunderstandings, the human impact. That curiosity led me to law, and eventually to arbitration, where my passion for construction aligned naturally with a career in dispute resolution.
Becoming an arbitrator allowed me to bring together technical insight with legal clarity, but I quickly realized that many others shared the same interest—and lacked a clear path.
Bringing Institutions Home
I’ve also had the privilege of helping bring respected global institutions—like the Society of Construction Law, the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, and the Dispute Resolution Board Foundation—into Pakistan.
These weren’t passive achievements. They came through years of active lobbying, persistence, and belief in what these platforms could offer to practitioners in our region.

For me, it’s never been just about being part of the conversation—it’s about shaping it. I’m passionate about leading with purpose, being a thought leader in the field, and making the journey smoother for those who come next.
I’ve taken the long road so others don’t have to. Every mentorship, every training, every initiative I’ve launched is rooted in something deeply personal: the belief that no one should have to walk this path alone.
