As a Fellow, you already bring significant experience in law, construction, finance, engineering, or policy. The challenge now lies in bridging the gap between your substantive expertise and your professional visibility. This program is focused on helping you define your unique public value proposition and strategically align your activities—whether through board appointments, public commentary, expert panels, or academic contributions—to reflect that value. Over the course of six months, each Fellow will follow a structured progression model, including strategic planning, personalized branding, a visibility audit, and execution of a public contribution portfolio.

Led by Mian Sheraz Javaid—himself a CIArb Fellow, international arbitrator, and founding chair of the CIArb Pakistan Branch—this program provides personal mentorship tailored to seasoned professionals looking for visibility without vanity. As the founder of Mentorship Matters, MSJ launched this initiative with a clear purpose: to provide structured guidance regarding international dispute resolution. Having transitioned from civil engineering to becoming an English barrister and multi-jurisdictional ADR practitioner, MSJ offers practical, experience-based support—whether it’s career mapping, strategic shortcuts, or real-world exposure. MSJ Mentorship Program Structure
The MSJ Mentorship Program is designed to deliver deep, structured, and actionable mentorship across two distinct phases: The First Six and The Second Six.
The First Six focuses on core foundational growth—covering personal discipline, professional clarity, communication excellence, strategic decision-making, and problem-solving frameworks curated by MSJ.
The Second Six transitions into advanced exposure, including live case insights, network integration, collaborative tasks, and direct shadowing opportunities.
Upon successful completion of The First Six, mentees become eligible to join the MSJ Club—a lifelong access community of professionals who remain part of MSJ’s inner network. This ensures that mentorship is not a one-time event but an enduring relationship that supports your journey through continuous knowledge sharing, private updates, strategic guidance, and event invitations.
